How to reach the meeting place?
Download a plan in PDF … showing the Museum and both railway stations (Gare d’Austerlitz and Gare de Lyon). There is a large choice of hotels in the vivinity.
[**By train*]:
– The railway station “Gare d’Austerlitz” is the closiest (5 min by foot).
– From Gare de Lyon, you will need about 15 min.
The bus n°63 (stop at Gare d’Austerlitz) may take you to Place Valhubert (see the map).
The bus n°24 stops close to the 12 Rue Buffon.
– From Gare du Nord, taking the metro (RATP) line n°5, direction “Place d’Italie”, you can be at “Gare d’Austerlitz” within 15 min (9 stops), 25 min taking into account the walks.[**By plane*];
A taxi from Orly will cost 30 € (fixed price by-law). From Charles-De Gaulle, it will be 55 €.
By public transports (nothing direct, just 2 examples below):
- From Orly-Ouest, take Orlyval to Antony, then the RER B, direction Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 & 2 / Mitry Claye, to “Chatelet-Les Halles (9 stops), , Change to RER line A, direction Boissy-Saint-Léger / Marne-la-Vallée (rear of the train), to “Gare de Lyon (1 stop, 3 min).
- From CDG terminal 2, take the RER line B, direction Massy-Palaiseau (front portion of the train), to “Chatelet-Les Halles” (3 stops, 35 min), Change to RER line A, direction Boissy-Saint-Léger / Marne-la-Vallée (rear of the train), to “Gare de Lyon (1 stop, 3 min).
