5th Joint International German – Swedish – Finnish Scientific Diving Training Course 2022

In 2022, the 5th international training course for scientific diving will be jointly organized by the Biological Station Helgoland (Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (Germany), the Kristineberg Marine Research Station at University of Gothenburg – Kristineberg (Sweden), the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) and University of Helsinki, Tvärminne Zoological Station, Finland. The training course is offered within the framework of the ESD regulations published by the European Scientific Diving Panel (ESDP) as member of the MARS network.

The practical part of the course will be held in two parts from Oct 10th (arrival on the 9th) – Oct 23rd in Tvärminne (Finland) and from Oct 24th– Nov 12th in Kristineberg (latest departure 13th), Fiskebäckskil (Sweden). An e-learning seminar on scientific diving will be held before the practical part of the course.
